Account and plans

Signing in, knowing what each plan unlocks, restoring purchases and deleting the account.

The app works in full with no account and no payment. The Account screen gathers what depends on being identified: sign-in, plan and deletion.

  1. Sign in

Signing in goes through Google or Apple, with the Continue with Google and Continue with Apple buttons. There is no password, so there is none for you to create, keep or lose, and none of ours to be exposed. Later closes the screen without signing in.

Signing in restores your data on a new device or after a reinstall.

  2. Know what each plan unlocks

Free shows ads, holds one vehicle and limits the export to the smart home to five calculated sensors, with a minimum sending interval.

Pro removes the ads, unlocks every feature and holds two vehicles, working entirely on the phone. It comes as a yearly subscription or a one-off lifetime purchase, with no monthly option.

Pro Cloud adds cloud backup and use across several devices, and holds five vehicles.

  3. Know what lifetime does not include

The lifetime purchase grants Pro. It includes neither cloud backup nor syncing between devices, features that belong to Pro Cloud.

That is the point worth checking before buying.

  4. Restore a purchase

If the plan does not show up after changing device or reinstalling, sign in with the same account and use the purchase restore. The entitlement is tied to the account rather than to the store, which lets you buy on Android and use it on an iPhone.

  5. Manage the subscription and your data

Manage subscription opens the subscription in the phone store, where it is renewed or canceled. The plans screen lists the Precautions: billing is handled by the store and renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the cycle; cancellation is done in the store, in the subscriptions area; and uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.

Before the purchase, the app shows the Before becoming PRO notice, recommending that you test the connection with your adapter and your vehicle, because some older cars and cheap adapters may not work perfectly.

Request account data asks for a file with everything held on our servers. The app tells you when the file is ready, and the download link expires after a short while.

  6. Delete the account, if you want to

Deletion sits on this screen. It schedules the erasure for 7 days and unlinks any active subscription on this device.

Within that window the deletion can be called off: just sign in again.

If something goes wrong

Make sure you signed in with the same account used for the purchase and run the purchase restore. If the purchase was made with no account signed in, sign in and restore: the entitlement then becomes tied to the account.

Using it across platforms is possible, because the entitlement is tied to your account rather than to the store. Sign in with the same account on the other device and restore the purchases.

The quota counts archived vehicles along with active ones. Open Previous vehicles, in My Garage, and permanently delete the ones you no longer care about, or change plan.

The deletion only takes effect after seven days. Sign in again within that window to call it off.

Your data stays on the device. What comes back are the free plan limits: ads, one vehicle and the export ceiling. No data is erased because of the cancellation.

Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. Cancellation is done in the phone store, in the subscriptions area, or through Manage subscription on the Account screen, at least 24 hours before the end of the cycle.
