My Garage

Switching the active vehicle, editing its data, setting the primary one and handling cars you no longer have.

My Garage lists every registered vehicle. It opens from the garage button on the home screen, or from the first row of Settings.

  1. Switch the active vehicle

Tap the vehicle card. It becomes the active car, and trips, fill-ups, expenses and sensor profiles all start referring to it.

The vehicle marked PRIMARY is the one the app assumes on startup.

  2. Edit a vehicle's data

Swipe the card to the right. The registration wizard reopens with the fields already filled in, and the swipe alone is enough to open it.

Use this path to correct a wrong year or to add the tank capacity you left blank.

  3. Archive a car you no longer have

Swipe the card to the left. The app asks for confirmation before going ahead.

This action deletes neither the vehicle nor the data related to it. The car is archived, leaves the day-to-day lists and stays available in Previous vehicles, with its whole history preserved.

If the archived car was the primary one, the app ends the background service and disconnects the adapter before archiving.

  4. Look up or bring back a previous car

The Previous vehicles link at the bottom of the list opens the archive. The trips and costs of that car stay available to consult, and it remains in the per-vehicle filter of the history screens.

To reactivate it, swipe the archived card to the right. The vehicle returns to the garage with its complete history.

  5. Delete for good, when that is what you want

Inside Previous vehicles, swipe the card to the left. The app opens the Delete permanently? confirmation and warns that the vehicle and all its associated data will be erased, with no way to undo it.

This is also the way to free space when your plan's vehicle quota is full, since archived ones count towards the total.

If something goes wrong

The vehicle was not erased. Open Previous vehicles from the bottom of the garage and swipe the card to the right: it returns to the garage with its whole history.

Permanent deletion only happens if you swipe the archived card to the left and confirm the warning.

The quota counts archived vehicles along with active ones, because an archived vehicle keeps its complete history and takes up the same space. Open Previous vehicles and permanently delete the ones you no longer care about.

They are still recorded. In the per-vehicle filter of the history screens, the All option considers only active cars, on purpose, so that the archive does not get in the way of the day-to-day view. Select the archived car by name and its trips appear.

The warning appears when you cancel or downgrade the plan with more cars registered than the new limit. Tap Choose: the Keep N vehicles in use sheet lists every car, with the active ones preselected up to the limit, and the counter shows how many are selected. Tap Confirm.

The rest move to Previous vehicles with their history preserved, and come back with one tap when the plan is expanded.
