About this policy
This policy applies to the car2home.ai website (this page). The Car 2 Home mobile app has its own privacy policy, shown at install time on the app store and inside the app settings.
What we collect on the website
The website is a static landing page. There is no signup, no login, no payment, and no user database. The only data that touches the site is:
- Messages submitted through the contact form (name, email, message body) — used solely to reply to you.
- Operational server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamp) — collected by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and diagnostics, and never used to profile users or cross-reference with other sources.
- Language preference (en/pt). Detected from your browser language on the first visit and stored in the
NEXT_LOCALEcookie (1-year expiry) to remember your choice on future visits. Strictly functional cookie, not used for tracking.
Cookies and analytics
We use a single functional cookie (<code>NEXT_LOCALE</code>) to remember your language preference between visits. This cookie is strictly necessary for the site to work and does not require consent under GDPR. We do not use tracking cookies, the Facebook pixel, Google Analytics, or any visitor profiling tool.
Contact form
When you submit the form, your message (name, email, body) is forwarded by email to our internal inbox via Resend. We do not store the message in a database and do not share it with third parties beyond what's needed for delivery.
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block bots. Turnstile is a privacy-first alternative to reCAPTCHA — it does not track visitors across sites.
Server logs
The site runs on Cloudflare Workers, which keeps operational logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamp, HTTP status) per Cloudflare's own policy. These logs are used to detect abuse and diagnose issues, and are not used to build user profiles.
Your rights (LGPD / GDPR)
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data you've submitted through the site (in practice, this is mostly contact-form messages). We respond to requests within 15 business days.

What about the mobile app?
The Car 2 Home app (iOS / Android) collects different data — vehicle telemetry over OBD-II, location for trip recording, etc. — and has its own privacy policy, shown before installation and inside the app at Settings → Legal. This page only covers the website.
Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we change the "last updated" date at the top. Significant changes are highlighted on the home page.
