How to request deletion of your personal information held by VS1 Software Ltda. (Car 2 Home).

This page describes how to request the deletion of personal information that the Car 2 Home App or its backend services hold about you. It is a simplified summary of the rights detailed in our Privacy Policy.

What data is stored and where

Most data handled by the Car 2 Home App is stored exclusively on your device, in a local database that never leaves the phone. This includes:

  • Trip logs and GPS routes
  • Parking locations and photos
  • Refueling events and receipts
  • Drive Score history and DTC fault codes
  • Vehicle profiles and configuration

You can wipe all of this information instantly by uninstalling the App or by clearing the App storage from the operating system settings of your device.

A small subset of information may reach external servers when you opt in to certain features:

  • Crash diagnostics sent to Sentry (servers located in the European Union), with no OBD readings, no location, no credentials and no photos.
  • Subscription account data (email and provider identifier from Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple), once a paid subscription is active.
  • Advertising identifiers shared with Google AdMob while ads are enabled.

How to request deletion of server-side data

The fastest way is the self-service flow: go to car2home.ai/en/account/delete, enter the email linked to your account, click the confirmation link we send, and your account is scheduled for deletion with a 7-day grace period during which you can still cancel from inside the app.

If you prefer, you can email privacy@car2home.ai instead with the following information:

  • Subject: Data Deletion Request
  • The email address linked to your account or subscription, if applicable
  • A short description of what you want deleted (everything, only the subscription account, only the crash reports, etc.)

Response timeframe

We will confirm your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 calendar days, in line with the LGPD and the GDPR. If some information cannot be deleted for legal reasons (such as fiscal or compliance retention obligations), we will tell you what is being kept, why, and for how long.
